Sewing Retreats
We will be hosting Sewing Retreats in our workroom in 2027
Who fancies spending three days sewing with their friends?
You will be spending three full days at the shop in our workroom which includes lunch and refreshments.
Your evening and accommodation will be spent at The Chequers Inn pub in the village of Smarden.
Workroom
You will be spending three full days in our workroom using our facilities that include our cutting tables, irons and ironing boards.
Your retreat is all about you and your friends sewing and chatting but if you would like us to organise a tutor for a workshop on one of the days please let us know.
You will also have the shop available to you throughout the three days.
Lunch will be provided (sandwiches, crisps, fruit and cake) together with teas and coffee.
We have a car park on site and toilet facilities.
Accommodation
Your accommodation will be at The Chequers Inn pub in the village of Smarden.
We have seven bedrooms available and the bedrooms can be set up as a double or a twin room. All rooms have ensuites, toiletries, towels and hair dryer available.
Your retreat includes bed and breakfast plus a two course evening meal (no drinks included at the pub).

We can also organise non-residential if you are local to the shop but still wish to join in.
