Try out the Classic Kite shape and discover an exciting range of new patterns for English Paper Piecing!
Kites are Rectangles and can have various angles at the top end and  ‘shoulders’ and usually have a sharp tip at the opposite end.
We measure our Kite shapes by the length of the edge on the short sides (top). The top angle is 120 degrees and the shoulders have 90 degree angles and the tip is 60 degrees.
 
When 6 Kites are combined they form a larger Hexagon, and when 3 Kites are combined they form an equilateral Triangle (see product pictures). The pattern possibilities are multiple and we found it was great fun to play with this shape!
