Beginners Quilting Workshop

Learn how to read your ruler and what it can do. Look at cutting mats, find the best one for you. The rotary cutter is your friend if you know which one to select and how to use it. Fabrics - lets learn the quilting lingo, get to know your precuts. Master correct piecing and some short cuts. You will make a small quilt project so we can look at batting, backing, making a quilt sandwich, simple quilting and binding in its many forms. Be prepared to learn loads, have some myths explained and start your quilting journey right.
