About The Event
TempLee Quilting is a Westalee term for a reverse appliqué technique achieved whilst quilting.
Your finished block (approx 16”) can afterwards be made in to anything you wish; a cushion, wall hanging, table mat, or bag front. The star design also lends itself beautifully to festive makes and Christmas fabrics. You may wish to choose plain or not so precious fabrics for the workshop day itself in order to learn the design and technique with less pressure. The design can then be stitched again or multiplied to make something more special without feeling rushed. Radiance - fully illustrated step-by-step instruction booklet is included in the workshop fee plus access to an online tutorial for future reference. When new to ruler work, large projects can often feel intimidating.
Small projects are perfect practice pieces, help build your confidence and improve your technique.
Westalee Templates required: 12" Arc Only.
